RW2 Development Company is a multi-discipline real estate development, entitlement, and asset management company with experience on a regional and national format. RW2's projects range from small scale land developments to multi-billion-dollar portfolio growth and asset management. Including multi-family, retail, office, light industrial, and business and technology parks.
Randy entered the real estate development arena at an early age. Working with his father, a civil engineer and land developer, the experience in design, construction, and development was early and formative. Randy began a professional career in land planning and project management in the Washington DC and Baltimore, MD markets.
Randy spent the following 15 years as a leader in retail development for two public companies in the fashion outlet business: Prime Retail and Tanger Properties (NYSE: SKT) where he served as an officer of the company. Randy was to later become a joint venture partner with Tanger.
Randy honed his office and industrial development skills taking the lead position in the 500-acre private component of Millennium Park / ICAR project in Greenville, South Carolina, a 3,000-acre joint private - public partnership between the State of South Carolina, BMW, and Clemson University.
As asset manager of CIRI, an Alaska Native Corporation, Randy managed, leased, developed, and led equity investment in a $1B mixed portfolio of retail, office, industrial and multi-family properties.
Randy is the founding partner in RW2 Development Company. Since its inception, RW2 has focused primarily on the development of industrial properties throughout the southeast. Working with respected partners and clients over the past 7 years, RW2 has participated in more than 5 million square feet of industrial developments.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Land Planning and mathematics from Towson University, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University.
Steve joined the RW2 team bringing with him over 35 years of development, construction, leasing and portfolio management experience. He has directly participated in project management and development of over 5M SF of light industrial and class A office properties in the Baltimore, MD and northern Virginia markets. As of recent, Steve has led development and construction for medical office projects and high end residential in Durango, Colorado. His experience goes well beyond the initial development and construction phase of a project and includes leasing and ongoing property asset management. Steve is involved in all aspects of the company's project due diligence, entitlement, development and construction project management, and leasing efforts.
Steve was a military pilot. Education - University of Maryland.
Our supporting team members are professionals with years of experience in their respective roles of responsibility. Each lead and participate in achieving the company's goals and exceeding performance expectations for our partners and clients. RW2 team members' duties generally include financial analysis, project budgeting, expense management and tracking, administrative and marketing. Each plays an invaluable role in the success of every project.
